how often do you fertilize?
I use miracle grow and osmocote. Osmocote a couple of times from spring to early fall. I use miracle grow about every other watering. However, I must confess that this year I have been very negligent about fertilizing and they have still bloomed pretty good on their own.

I use what ever I can lay my hands on when I think of feeding them.
Usually just sprinkled on the soil dry.
They cannot read and ain't fussy.
I even throw in some of that boxed granulated fertilizer (cheap) that WallyWorld carries
(My 'nanas love that stuff too).
Scooter, I spread dry fertilizer on mine too..when I started growing brugs I had a nice lady tell me thats how she did it and from then on I did the same thing....I usually use 20/20/20 until I see buds and then I go for the bloombooster..thats what I use all summer until the temps drop and the leaves start to yellow...Judy
I have used that kind too on all my plants, but I think I tend to put too much on there. Kinda burns them , one or two actually caught on fire! Ha! Get my drift?
