How similar in color is this to salvia lyrata "purple knockout'? Do you know?

From looking at the pictures, I would say they are identical. I'm not familiar with it and I am going by the tag that came on the plant. They could be the very same thing. Lou

I would love to trade for something. Would you be interested in some persicaria? I have painters palette and lance corporal. I too am in zone 5. I also have some other perennials to trade. What are you looking for? I think the meadow sage is awesome looking! Thanks for sharing.

OOPS....I see it is only hardy in zones 8-9. Pretty plant tho. :)

Purple Knockout is a different cultivar from Purple Volcano, same species.
