want to trade hardwood cuttings of roses

Lindenhurst, NY

I have lots of modern and antique roses to trade hardwood cuttings of.

I'm looking for only antique roses, especially english roses that I don't have, or hybrid musks.

I will have several "Reine des Violettes" in a few weeks. I also have an unidentified pink centifolia climber that was collected at an abandoned farmstead. It is extremely drought tolerant and grows like crazy. If you like David Austin roses I will have several rooted babies of "Heritage" soon.

I was thinking of making some cuttings of my "Fairy" rose -- that is a fine one if you don't already have it.

Greenjay, hi. I would love Heritage. I'm not sure about Reine des violettes - I'll have to go look it up. Are you growing it outdoors or indoors? If it's indoors it probably won't transplant well outside now, right? I'm zone 6b/7a.

I'm not good at rooting things indoors, that's why I like to do it outdoors when they are dormant. Thanks
Maureen
What would you like in trade?

The centifolias are acclimating on my patio right now, and will go into a temporary overwintering space this weekend. I plan to overwinter everything else in a cold frame on my patio. I could wait to ship to you after it is safe to plant out in your zone next spring.
