The Galveston County Plant Swap is just around the corner on September 30, in League City, at Walter Hall Park. It starts at 10 am. Our spring swap, even with all of the rain brought in almost 100 swappers. We had at the swap, plants from common to rare and even orchids. This year promises to be as grand.
We have a free BBQ, great door prizes, silent auction, and a free table. The free table is where swappers bring garden related items they no longer want or need to share with others. In the past we have had nice clay pots, fertilizer, plastic pots, books, hoses, gloves, garden tools, and a bunch of other stuff. You never know what exciting item you may find on the free table.
I would love to meet more gardeners from Dave's site. This is the perfect place to gather and enjoy each others company.
