September pictures of pond

Mysore, India(Zone 10a)

Almost pond-level photograph. The pink is giving joy. The pond now is so well settled that the fish are happy - as happy as their space-provider - yours truly!! I'm just enjoying it. The joy as I say is "pond-bottom". It was actually a dream of mine - to see the bottom of the pond from the surface. Though it is just 18 inches deep.

The oxygenator. It is not the bottom of the pond, but a level in it about 5 inches from the surface.

The side and bottom if you can notice.

Full view. I'm making a few changes near the pond as I have now placed an arch to grow a vine just at where I stood to take this shot.

Nice view of the surface and your beautiful plants and did I notice some baby fish in among the oxygenators?

Many thanks for sharing your pictures.....

I'm trying to identify that oxygenator. Yes there are plenty of guppies in my pond. I don't know the names of the red ones. Their number is also increasing.

NIce work. Do you have a lot of rocks around your homeland? I live in Louisiana and we don't have rocks.

We have plenty of rocks. I collected almost all of them from roadsides. You can make rocks!! There was a project on www.bhg.com Try it Jeri.

New addition to the view... the arch and the bench. This became part of the slight reshaping I did last weekend.

Nice pictures, Dinu.....your pond gets prettier all the time. What a wonderful place to sit and just enjoy the beauty of it all.

Earlier I used to come out with my coffee cup. Now, I have the fishfood bottle and camera!! The cup and the bottle can be seen on the bench on the left but you can't of course see the camera!!

In your last picture, what is the plant with the long leaves on the bottom right? It is really neat looking.
