Homemade Apricot Syrup Recipe -from canned Nectar? Help!

My DH has used Knottsberry Farm Apricot syrup for years and years. All of a sudden, we can't find it anywhere-not even on the KF website.
So, we went looking online for another source. Not too many vendors carry it, and the cost plus shipping is rediculous.
Since I'm no stranger to canning or cooking, thought surely I could make my own, but can't find a recipe using anything but fresh fruit.
I am hoping to find a recipe using Apricot Nectar as the base for the recipe.
Can anyone help me?
