Many of you know I will be doing a presentation on Butterflies for the Mississippi Gulf Coast Chapter Audubon Society on the 18th. Well I get this mornings paper and what do I see at the very beginning of my friends weekly Birding article.
"I'm excited about MS. Coast Audubon Society's first public program since Hurricane Katrina. On Sept 18, Donna Bailey will bring us her exquisite photos of southern-centered butterflies, and much info on how they live, what they eat, and the host plants they need to survive" It goes on lol. Now I am really nervous."
I am so behind on getting ready for it with being in the hospital for a week a couple of weeks ago and just not feeling like working on it. At least I have 98% of the pictures printed I want to show, almost completed the host plant list for the butterflies most common here and mainly just need to work on making some note cards so I don't forget anything important as well as getting my thoughts together about what I want to say. I need to talk for 45 minutes. So if I am not on much it will be because I am working on getting everything together for the presentation
The Heat is onnnnnnnnnnnn!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Not that you need it, Donna, because I am sure you will be well-prepared by show time, but the best of luck! Your audience will be so taken with the photography and fascinated with the information that the 45 minutes will fly by. Wish I could be there.

Can't wait for a report on how things went. I'm sure your presentation was extremely well and gratefully received!
I suppose it's a bit much to hope that somebody videotaped it.... I sure wish I could've been there! :-)
