I am in love, yet again.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

This one is on my walkway up to my front door. Every time it is in flower I have to stop and gush all over it. I just love it. HUGE blooms............. and so many shades of PINK!

Donna, you have never seen a hibiscus you didn't love. LOL.

I have shown this one before, but just think it is so exquisite esp with the texture.

Belle de Jour.

Similar to my Bon Jour plant, yours has more pink though.

lol Kell. To bad I don't live in a more tropical zone. I could plant them in the yard and have all of them

I still haven't planted one of the showy hibiscus here in the ground. I am so behind. All around me neighbors have HUGE bushes of beautiful hibiscus and they do great. Most are planted right next to their house though. I am not sure thought whether they are the same hibiscus as these tropical ones. I guess they are, just not the fancy hybrids. I seem to live in a slight cold spot for lots of mine die over winter but they are in pots.

I have been playing with the idea of changing my past rhodie/azalea bed then an abutilon / tree rose bed to a hibiscus bed. It almost was a EE bed last year. LOL The roses were a huge disappointment to me, not a good enough show.

I think I will do it. LOL. Tom is going to kill me.
