Mary Poppins

Bartlesville, OK(Zone 6a)

Here is my latest Mary Poppins bloom. This is the second one for this year. All my tropical hibiscus have just started blooming, I wonder if that is normal? Didn't anything I have do much during that awful heat we had and as soon as it cooled off a bit, they all budded up.

I have these in pots so I can just bring them in for the winter. I have done that for three years now, increasing the pot size each spring.

Hee is a picture of the entire plant, that dead looking thing in the back is a clematis which is starting to put back on green leaves now that it has cooled off.

The buds tend to drop when its real hot, this was our hottest summer on record this year.

That is a nice one! Where in your house do you keep them? Do they flower in winter for you?

I have a card table set up in the dining room. And yes, I have had them flower in the winter. That is always exciting for me.

I love Mary Poppins best, it is so unique...for me at least.

Very pretty. Looks like a very large bloom, too.

My very attractive, dead-looking clematis has started to bloom again now that it's cooled off. :)
