I bet it will be even darker in the heat of the summer. I can tell from a mile away it is Rosamond X EP. Boy a lot of EP came out. It looks like a big bloom too, bigger than EP?

THANKS so much for letting me see this seedling.

Beautiful
Thanks for showing all the stages of the blooms obtaining there color. Great sequence and a beauty!

Is this one of them too, Kell? This is the one you sent up here with Don and Pam in May. It bloomed soon after that, then again when I planted it in the ground, and this is the third round.

What a shock to see you here Zuzu. LOL. Not a rose in sight either. Oh I take that back. LOL

Was that in a 15 gallon pot? That was a big potbound tree wasn't it? I do believe that was EP X L'A. It should have a white tag in the soil. Was it ever real dark for you in the heat? If it is the one I am thinking of, it was dark for me twice. I thought it was such a pretty one I hated to kill it.

I gave you seedlings to Zuzu earlier, the flower never before seen on them. Any of those flower?

Sebastopol, CA(Zone 9a)

Yes, Kell. That was the one in the big pot. The seedlings haven't bloomed yet. They're still growing, but nicely.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Oh Good Zuzu, I hope you get one that you like and you can name it Zuzu! LOL

Sebastopol, CA(Zone 9a)

What can I say, Kell? It's a great name, that's for sure. One of Martha Stewart's cute dogs is named Zuzu too.

Well in that case.......................... LOL!
