Hardy Gladiolas

I bought 50 hardy gladiolas on Ebay. I am wondering when I should plant them? I am in zone 5. Is it better to get them in the ground now or should I wait till spring? These are supposed to overwinter here without having to dig them up.

I planted my hardy gladiolas this year in the early spring and got flowers in July and August. Good luck with them!!

Thanks. I'm looking forward to having glads I don't have to dig in the fall.
