Where to buy alsobias?

Does anyone know where I can buy some more alsobias? I have looked on ebay and Rob's Violets and I can't find any place else to buy them. Any ideas? They are my latest addiction. I know you all know how that is. :)

well for starters, there aren't that many to collect. There are only a few species - only two recognized named species dianthiflora and punctata, plus a yet un-named one from Chiapas (Alsobia sp. 'Chiapas' (USBRG 1994-005) and another unnamed one Alsobia sp. nov. aff. punctata (USBRG 1994-005)). I can't remember if there are any others.

The hybrid cultivars Cygnet and San Miguel are hybrids between the dianthiflora and punctata species. There are also crosses made with Chiapas, but I don't think any have been given names or are in circulation.....

Hi Jesse, I did notice one alsobia on Ebay today as I was on doing my daily searching : ) .I don't remember the item number but you should be able to find it pretty easy. Good Luck! Nancy
