I don't post much on this forum, but on a sunny hot day like we had today, I thought I'd take a few shots of the flowers in my garden while they are at their peak.
first up, an unknown Brug blooming...that I thought was Isabella, but's yellow...so I don't know. Smells heavenly though,
Garden Pictures
Absolutely lovely pictures. So why don't you post more on this forum? You know we love to see gardens. Thanks for showing us.

Love the pictures - especially your roses and a nice one of your Lavatera.
Ann
I envy you, I am just a little bit to far north for the really beautiful roses. I'v tried a few and lost them eventually. Have one on its on root left, City of London.
Thank for sharing. Lynn
Gee, I haven't seen that one yet, Lynn. Post a photo of it if you can. I never tire at looking at them :)
If you can find a nice sheltered south exposure spot close to the house, you should be able to grow them there too.
You have a beautiful garden anyway and I envy your home with the fabulous scenery. Ü
Don
Thank you for the bloom show Don! You sure can grow roses and have some beauties. Love those Mauve Asters too. Did you grow your asters from seed? I started some this year and so glad I did.
Erynne :o)
You know, Erynne, I did grow the Asters from seed indoors in the early spring and then transpalnted them. Found they were hard to get going. I ended up with only 3-4 plants form 12 seeds. I like them too, but not enough to grow them again. I ended up with White and Mauve, but didn't like the tall gangly plant itself. Had to stake them even. They sure are great cut flowers though.
Thanks for the compliment on my garden blooms, and yes, I love Roses too. I have climbers, floribundas, miniatures, by my favourite by far are the Hybrid Teas, of which I have 8 plants. I should have blooms continuing for at least another month yet, possibly longer. I never get tired of checking them each day. :)
Don
Lovely floral display Don....growing dahlias and annuals can certainly extend the season. I don't grow much in regards to annuals so my garden is sorely lacking colour now. Only the Colchicums and Asters are left to bloom.
Thanks for your great pictures, Don, - I have the "Abraham Darby" rose as well and I love it too. I also have "Pat Austin" - can you see a colour pattern here ! I really love peachy colours ! LOL.
Heather
Oh, that's lovely. I love pinks!
Thanks for sharing.
Don
Don, congatulations on aquiring your lovely new kitten, Toby. I was visiting the Pet forum, and came across your pictures of your furry family. Just love the one of Toby sleeping in the window.
Lovely rose Lynn. Such a deep colour.
Oh, what a little cutie! Kittens are so much fun. --Ginny
I never get sick of beautiful pictures, Don! All of them are striking! Toby is a cutie, patootie! Isn't he to young to shave?
:) Donna
Cool! I've never heard of a Devon Rex. His fur reminds me of a persian coat. What a sweetie.
Awww, Toby is a cutie... and flexible! Lovely flower pics. The marigold is hot, hot, hot!
Sandy
That would be a perfect description, Donna. A Persian Coat. Toby is young yet, so his coat will get thicker over the coming months. I have a 13 year old Devon that looks like a wavy BORG Coat. LOL
Thanks Sandy, those Marigolds are so reliable and flexible. I am forever moving and shifting them, and all they do is reward me with clusters of blooms that continue until the snow flies.
