guten morgen!

thought i'd post some blooms of guillot sunset. this plumie started blooming last month. believe it or not, but it's my first one to bloom this year. all my mature plumies are recuperating from last thanksgiving's freeze. only two from the lot have buds. we're making progress. LOL

Fabulous picture, Dete. I remember that awful shock during Thanksgiving last year. That picture is so beautiful. It deserves to be uploaded here (hint, hint): http://davesgarden.com/pf/image.php?pid=101498

thanks hetty, kauai17, calre and brad for the compliments. i'm glad i have something to share this season. i kind of like this pic better because you can focus on the flowers w/o rain drops. plus it shows what the flowers will look like as they age. but who wants to see spent flowers. LOL

just got home and found an aztec gold starting to unfurl. aaahhhh, i'm in plumie heaven. that fragrance is out of this world. i swear that i could amass an army of aztec gold plumeria and be content. okay, that until one of you post another plumie beauty. haha!

hetty - it sure is a keeper! maybe one day this will be a prominent tree in my yard. btw, i have to say 'for shame.' that's directed at me though. i was in florida this summer. i drove from tampa to visit luc and carol. i was trying to figure out where everyone was. it wasn't until i returned to tucson that i remembered that you are in naples. i was right there! next year...

clare - i'll try not to store up any harsh memories this thanksgiving. LOL all the plants will be protected before i leave on thanksgiving holiday.

Luc and Carol told me you were there but I couldn't come by that weekend. Next time you must stop and sniff all the Aztec Gold you want!!! My two trees keep me covered in the bloom department all season long.

okay you two. LOL i might need some help. i'll do it when i return from the mtn.

Ventura, United States(Zone 10b)

Dete, it's really easy. Just go to this link: http://davesgarden.com/pf/go/101498/index.html and go to the bottom and click "Upload an image of this plant" link. Then Browse and find your picture and hit "Preview This Image." After previewing hit "Send." It's easy. You can then hit your Back button to add a second pic. I can do it for you if you would like:-)
