Kyle,

Do you know those HVH guys? Weeks ago I emailed them a question- there's no working phone number on their site- and they never got back. I then emailed them from their Garden Watchdog entry, and ditto. Just curious what their deal is- I'm sure they're busy with their open houses and whatnot, but it kind of makes me disinclined to work with them unless someone tells me otherwise.

Thanks!

Eclipse did you go in and read about the new ' HVH Wake Up Spay' they use on there Hibiscus. I am thinking about getting some. Or does it sound to good to be true.

It's interesting there is a good bit of info on using worm castings to repel insects on their site. I have been doing that on my H. mutabilis and my gardenias with much sucess for years now. I was told it was an old country method of keeping the white flies at bay.

Another open house??? My husband, I think, will be putting a wheel lock on my car so I can't go and buy more, lol! I think I might need to go to a treatment center or something for my plant addiction ~ they're all so pretty I just can't stop myself.

Tess, I haven't had any problems with HVH communication wise, but sometimes it does take them a couple days. Super nice people with awesome plants - I've purchased about a dozen from them, from little babies to in-bud 2 gallons. I absolutely drool over their plants!

Ardesia, I've been wondering if anyone had tried the worm castings. Now that I hear of your success, I think I'll go ahead and give it a try myself. Thanks for the info :-)
