Have Rare Vanilla Perilla Magilla, Tropicals

Wesley Chapel, FL(Zone 9a)

I'm looking for Pink Sunburst and Stuttgart Canna, and Bird of Paradise, orange (Strelitzia reginae) and white (Strelitzia nicolai).

I have some hard to find Vanilla Perilla Magilla (see picture). They grow in sun or shade. I'm growing a couple indoors, and they're doing fine.

I also have

Elephant Ears:
Black Magic
Black Stem (Fontanesii)
Nancyana
Illustris
Giant Upright (A. macrorrhizos)
California (A.odora)
Dwarf (A. gaganea)
A. Hilo Beauty

Heliconia:
Distans
Arawak
Lady Di
Golden Torch
Andromeda

I got a S. nicolai as a bonus in a pot of Pitcairneas I bought at a Bromeliad plant sale in San Diego. The seller (who knew it was a nicolai -or is it nicholai?) said it would reach 30'. I was thinking of sending it to my daughter in Orlando but I wonder if such a non-moveable plant can withstand an (admittedly rare but inevitable) Orlando freeze?

Sorry I'm a little off topic.
Dave.

Dave,

I don't know. I actually want Orange BOP, Strelitzia reginae. I know a woman who has some, but she wants the Giant BOP in return.

Let me know if you're interested in trading it.

Dave,

There are BOP all over the place where I am - they seem to winter well here.

I'm southwest of Orlando, about a 90 minute drive, in zone 9a.

Hope that helps.

Steve
