How hot is this?

I think this was taken at Mike's shop. No name tag. Makes me nuts looking at it.

Sigh....Now that's one to lust after!

Vey hot. I got one similar at PHOE in March ('Madame Queen' look alike but one of the judges in Miami thought it might be 'Muddy Waters' or something similar) but it doesn't look as good as that. I guess neglect will only take you so far. I finally moved it out of the shadows of some of the big boys yesterday so I need to get some pictures to remind me how it looked before it fades into glory this winter.

You lucky duck, Butch to have this one. Do you have a GH to overwinter them? I am looking at all of mine and dying. I need to free up room right next to my house out of all the rain for them and hope they make it over winter. I have so many other plants that have dibs on my dining room. Like 20 plumarias who will definitely die if left outside.

Mike confirms, this is B. 'Madame Queen' . He is in love with it also.

Well I did pull mine out and got a few pictures. Here is a close up of one leaf. I had 'Madame Queen' twice before and thought the second one was going to do fine since it got through one winter but it wasn't meant to be. She is a fickled B. (draw your own conclusions).

Kell,

I can't believe what I just read. You mean all your begonias die every winter?

I think you misead my post Hap, I am the one that is dying thinking about them maybe dying. Last year all my rhizomes made it but my canes sure hated the wet and the cold. This year I have so many more (all Lali's fault I might add........she eggs me on).

I am going to have a heater in my Hoophouse this year and if I do ot die from being electrocuted from it........... I am going ot put alot in there I think. But between my plumies, hibiscus, and brugs I have little room left.

Well shoot Butch, so it is a tempermental b. girl. I hate watching my plants die.
