Looking for Texas Prickly Pear fruit that I can pick and make some jelly. I know they are usually ripe around the end of sept/oct so I thought I would start asking now.

Anyone around San Antonio have extra Prickly Pear fruit?
Hmm...I've only got young Purple Prickly Pear patches (wow, thats a tongue twister, lol) growing right now. My parents live west of Corpus, Nada...and I'll probably be driving home sometime soon in the weeks to come....right smack dab in the middle of the brush country and prickly pear heaven. If I see the tunas, I'll stop and try to get some for ya.. :) My mother use to make cactus jelly as well... :)
