I've never rooted any before, but I do want Blue River and Plum Crazy. Do you root in a medium or water?

(Linda) Winfield, KS(Zone 6a)

I just finished rooting some Kooper King and I just put the cutting in distilled water and had real good luck. But a lot of people use the rooting powder and then put in some real good soil. Mine always rotted that way. I don't do real good when it comes to using that method I do have better luck with the water.

AuntB I have you down for Plum Crazy and Blue River

Oh, Thank You, maybe I'll try the distilled water. Please dmail your addy and I'll send ... sasbe? How exciting, new winter project? (hopefully they will root)..

Decatur, IL(Zone 5b)

I also would be interested in Blue River II and Plum Crazy.

I have had pretty good luck with water rooting and hormone rooting. Ofcourse I gave them away and dont know how they are doing now. I did this with my Burgandy ones that for some reason was broken at work. They appear to die and then all of a sudden you get new leaves. Hope I can do as good again.

Kopper King looks a lot like my Luna Blush and I just love her, oh so pretty the two of them are. We could call them Mr & Mrs.....LOL
