They do like the sunflowers, sometimes they'll remain on one for a, relatively speaking, long time before flitting away.

I love the first pic!! I have Monarch's all over and just cut down the sunflowers. darn! I've been resisting taking a million pics that will end up looking like the same butterfly and flower, over and over. lol

Yes, it's a "Common Buckeye" but they are one of my favorites. I am always excited to see one. I think the purple eyespots on the brown just grabs me.
