HAVE: Variegated Asiatic Jasmine

Chapin, SC(Zone 7b)

I have several plants. It spreads rapidly and is a great ground cover. It will also travel up walls.

I would like to trade for named daylilies if possible but would consider other perennials that are suitable to my area.

Thanks,

Leslie

sorry I am not sure what I was thinking. Duh.

I have a 'Chicago Picotee Lace', I'm digging this week, it's an oldie but a goodie :) Nice size flower a tinted cream/dk. wine in the middle, litely rufflled edging, sort of thick petals, finished blooming in late July, early Aug. I could get you a good bit :)
Would love to trade, LMK

Hi Lea,

That sounds great. I think a good clump would be great. How many may I send you?

Leslie

Greenville, IN(Zone 6a)

A good clump? lol I have an area about 6' long and 3 ft. deep to plant, how long do you think it will take to fill in? I also have a deep wine color one that matches but no name, I lost it, could send some of this too, I can get them out by Monday, let me know about the other day lilly :)

Planting today, will be on here on and off all day.

Hi Lea,

LOL. I meant for you to send me a clump of your daylily and I'll send you several of the jasmine. I just looked it up in the plant files though, and it's going to be too tender for your area. I was afraid of that. It says it will only live starting in 7b. Sorry. I hope you find something that will work for you. More daylilies maybe?

Zones, what are those lol I can grow plants out of my zone around my house :) I would still like to trade if you would like to, I have the calla lilly that starts with a Z, can't think right now too tired, been digging all day lol It doesn't bloom but I still have the foliage and that is what I want this for, I think it will make it, I would like to try it if you are willing :) And our winters are getting a lot milder here lately, I'll put them to bed with a nice blanket of leaves, I have elephant ear that comes back up down the hill too, it's cooler down there but I cover real good with leaves, never have dug it up lol

OMG, if you can grow elephant ears then you should be fine with the jasmine. How about if I send you six of the jasmine plants and you send six clumps of daylilies? I'd like you to send them to my mom, though. She's just moved to a new community in Virginia and is on the landscaping committee. They need all of the plants they can get! I can send these next week. Would that be OK? Her address is:

I'm excited now. You'll love the jasmine. Do you need it anywhere else?

Leslie

Greenville, IN(Zone 6a)

Great, I'll stuff the flat rate box, did you want any of the wine color that I have with no name? I can send a smaller box of that.

That sounds like enough Jasmine :) And yes, no problem, can mail to your mom. Next week is fine too, I'm like really behind here so may not get out until Sat., but I think they get there quicker when you mail on Sat., would that be ok?

Hi Lea,

If you'll send what ever you want of either of those daylilies to Mom that would be great. Whenever you can would be fine too. I'll also do a flat rate box and should be able to do more than six if you can use them. Would it be too much to ask for you to put a little note in there saying something like "with love from Leslie"?

Les

Greenville, IN(Zone 6a)

Sure I can do that, I was planning on sending the copy of the dmail, would you just like a note in it?
I also grow the mealy cup sage that is for zone 7:) 'victoria blue' I think.
Lea

Chapin, SC(Zone 7b)

I'm sure they'd love the sage. Thank you SO much. Either the note or the d-mail would be great.

I don't have any extra sage, sorry, just meant I have it, but planning on growing a few extra next year :)

I'll send these out next Sat. thanks for the trade :)

Dear Lea,

I'm finally getting your box in the mail today. I am SO SORRY it has taken me until now to get them out to you. I have had your plants soaking overnight so they should be well hydrated. Please let me know when you get them.

If you still have some jasmine, I would be interested in a trade. I have lots of named daylilies.

Hi Rebecca,

I have jasmine. Do you have daylilies from the last five years?

Leslie
