Double White Tuberous?

Colorado Springs, CO(Zone 6a)

I bought this last weekend and I swear the tag said Apple Blossom Tuberous, but in Plant files this looks nothing like the apple blossom. It opened white and stayed white, not apricot like the photo. Any idea if the tag was wrong or if its somehting else completely common? Thank you Susanne.
PS, I'm glad to see how this forum has taken off since I've been gone!

I have no clue but I am sorry you are so disappointed! I hate it when tags are so misleading.

Oh no, not dissappointed! It actually had the bloom already opening when I bought it....I am addicted to white flowers right now. I just wanted to add this pic somewhere, but not in Apple Blossom apparently :) The leaves have great color too if it stops blooming!

Susanne I had one like that early in the spring. I planted it in the garden in shade. But it died. I'm new at begonias. I'm pretty sure it stayed too wet. I have two new tuberous begonias and I'm keeping them in pots. So far they look great. They are bright red. I love white too.

I'm also relatively new to begonias. I can't keep rexes alive for anything, but I've had luck with angel wings so I thought I'd try the tuberous. I don't try anything in the ground since I'm renting my house...so far the container is working. I'll cross my fingers for you too :) Do you have pictures?
Off topic, but where is Midway? I just moved from Houston, but don't know where that is- just curious.

No I don't have pics yet. I'll have to take some.

If you traveled I-45 from Houston to Dallas you would go through Madisonville Tx. I live east of Madisonville about 13 miles. Midway is a very small rural town. We live out in the country. ;)

How do you like Houston? That's a big change from Co.
