While bringing in plants today for the winter, I noticed that nummularoides is getting spurs. I debated wether to bring it in or not, but tonight is supposed to be down to 48. I just hope they all continue to develop and not fall off.

No worries, Tami...as long as the temp is kept kinda even...they should be fine. H. nummularoides, in my opinion, will bloom come &e!! or high water... Just enjoy....

Oooh....48 in Arizona?

Just had to comment on that....it's been no lower than the upper 50's here at night (knock on wood.....lower temps are on the way, I'm sure!)

Nan that's just in Tami's part of Arizona, we're still in the 80's for our low temp:-).

Keep watching ladies, they may just being stubborn or lazy, my sister has a huge plant and it is showing no signs either.

Nan, I wished I lived in Awanda's neck of the woods this time of year. It was 48 here last night, and fall is def. in the air.

Tami, i am surprised that it gets low at night in your area!...i would of thought you would be able to keep your plants out longer...

Sandy,

It all depends on good ole Mother Nature. Some years we can eat Thanksgiving dinner outside it is so nice. We have had a really cool/rainy year. July was a little toasty, but with all the rain, it was like living in Seattle. Heck I even have a little patch of Morel Mushrooms growing in my back yard. There are many parts of Arizona where you can leave your plants out year round, with very little chance of frost.

Here i thought arizona was one big desert!....I know what damp living is like as our climate is much like Seattles...

mushrooms in arizona, who would of thought that?...it must of been cool and rainy for you...

Sandy
