I lost the tag and I would like to know what it is and if I need to bring it in to the GH for winter.
Thanks

The ear? It looks like Colocasia esculenta.

badseed - colocasia esculenta - is that the edible tuber also called taro?

Cincinnati, OH(Zone 6b)

Edible w/ caution.
It has to be cooked correctly.

Thanks you all now I can label it correctly, it sure has been a slow growing one unlike my giant....

Depending on the size tuber you start with, those will grow like mad with plenty of water and a part shade location in the ground. It's not unusual in zone six to get 3-4 leaves with those conditions. ;)

Thanks, it was somewhat small tuber that I received in a trade last fall and it was not looking good so I thought I had lost it but it finally came back up..So it needs more shady condition, I water every other day but I have it in mostly full all day sun so I guess I need to move it..
