I have two pink hydrangeas planted about two feet apart in soil that is somewhat high in clay content. Before planting them a few years ago I did loosen the soil and added peat moss and some topsoil to the holes I planted in. The foliage on the plants is going very well and they get bigger every year. However, they have never bloomed. Any ideas on why this is happening?

mine didn't bloom this year either. have in the past. Maybe they know something I don't
roxroe, I had the same thing happen this year, I thinking winter kill and I had to do some pruning in spring. I think I'll wrap mine in burlap and leaves this winter. The daughter plant had 2 blooms and she has more exposier, go figure.

You may have gotten a Hydrangea that is not bud hardy in your area. Other than that don't cut any blue/pink flowering Hydrangeas back in the spring beause they bloom on old wood.
