Help with philo ID please

Northern California, CA(Zone 9a)

Found this fuzzy legged gal in Santa Barbara a few weeks ago. And of course it hopped in my car for the road trip home. Alas she has no name. Anyone have an idea?

And here's a shot of those fuzzy legs! Woo Hoo! Sadly this one got a bit of a sun burn or something. The leaves ended up with some brown spots. But I'm sure it will out grow it over time.

Very nice Philo begoniacrazii

That is Philodendron Squamiferum.

I hope to add this one to my collection sometime soon as well.

Thanks Mango. That makes two Davers who have said it's p. squamiferum (Cicada says the same). The leaves are very thin on this one. Not at all like my Emerald Price. These seem quite fragile and paper thin. Is it your experience that this one has such delicate feeling leaves??

It's a big one too. I think it's an 8" pot and the span is easily 2 and a half feet across or more. You can see where I cooked it a bit in the car ride home.

Thats is Philodendron Squamiferum Their is a hybrid much easier to find and usually a bit more weedy called philo florida beauty the variegated form of it is really nice but the regular form is just OK. It has rough stems but no hairs.
