I went outside and found that the inflo from my recently blooming cutting was off completely. And it was a clean break. Was this supposed to happen? I had thought that it would branch from that development, but perhaps not. It was windy and I think it may have been wind damage.

It may still branch for you.
They dont always branch after pushing an inflo.
Ussualy they do but not always.
