Ebay plant..Blue Mist

This flower opened today.9 inches across, beautiful lavender blue shades with a white / pink edged eye. Got this one for $10 off ebay a while back, was a huge plant when it came , and never lost a leaf .Will add blue to my gene pool.

Kyle, does this CV grow on its own roots?

10 dollars is a good deal off of Ebay, was it liner size or bigger?

its on its own roots, and the plant was 24 inches tall and budded when I got it.Multiple branches too.I grow ALL my hibiscus on their own roots.Have only had bad luck with grafted plants here.

How do you know when you buy a hibiscus plant wheather or not it is growing on it;s own roots or is grafted?

You can tell by the main stem down low.....most grafts are side grafted so would look like a thick stem was cut off and a smaller stem grew out of the side of it.

Very old pale blue silk turns that lovely color. Ebay, huh?

Kyle, I bet you could make a lot of $ teaching a course on finding the plant gems. LOL

What is the seller's Ebay title? Maybe they will have some more.

I love this one Kyle. I also purchased one from ebay last fall. Mine bloomed over the winter but hasn't down much since I repotted. It is finally working on some buds. I hope to see some flowers again soon. It has been a really slow year here for my hibiscus.
