Are there zone 5 hardy Alocasia

or Colocasia or any of the ee types?

Their is one. LOL Colocasia pink china which I got some plants out of china over 9 years ago have survived in zone6 with and with out mulch and I have had a few people in zone 5 test it for hardiness mulching would be needed specially the first year and for any really bad winters. Some others are worth testing but from what I can tell no alocasias have been hard. I have one that is out of china going under the name Alocasia Gigantea which might be a purple form of odora. It comes from a cold area and could be very hardy but no one is for sure yet.
