Theres two or three forms, differ only in the flower shape, mine is the narrow petaled form.

Check out the National Tropical Botanic Garden website (http://ntbg.org). In the "Meet the Plants" section they have listings (with photographs!) of many of Hawaii's endemic hibiscus . Its an interesting website if you like exotic plants.

I checked out that web site and found one I like very much it was called Breckenridgei, commonly known as Hibiscus yellow. I really go for the bright yellows and reds, but of course I like them all.

Oh Kell, I just now found this post...what a beautiful exotic bloom, reminds me of old vintage Hawaiian prints. Love the crisp white with the green foliage, very striking.
