I am going to try and post a couple of photos of 2 brugs that I started from seed. Please tell me that these are "Y"s and they are going to bloom. The first one is over 7ft tall, lost all of its leaves except new ones. Thanks John
Brug "Y"s
John I don't see a y. If it is 7 foot tall it probably has a y. I will see if I can find a picture.
Edited to say it might have a y in the very top.

Get ready for blooms,you have a Y!
Root
I almost thought the same thing Jim because they are so petite, odd to Y so small. But sure does look like it! I woud foliar fertilize and see if you can hurry them up.
GOOD FOR YOU, JOHN!
HEY ROOT!!!! I can't believe you posted today. Chele and I just mentioned you this morning on the tropical forum. I was wondering where you went to! How was your summer? Are you back to gardening?

Yup theres a y on the top of the first pic
Awesome, carrjohn! Be sure to post pics when they bloom!
Kell, I only have MG fert, cant afford messenger, so I have to rely on my horse manure and compost. If I look really close I can see 3 buds, But I dont really know what I am looking at. Any way I am soooooo happy, because mayby now all 12 may bloom this year. John
Yep some buds there John.
YOU HAVE ACHIEVED BUDS!! LOL. Hey, I bet your plants just love your horse manure and compost. I wouldn't be surprised if those are even much better than Messenger! And sure looks like your plants are doing just great.
Root is the king of doo you know. His garden was built on doo and was just incredible. I remember his magic rabbit doo but I wouldn't be surprised if he used horse too!
Yep..
I see a Y and Buds. Congrats
I think the manure and compost have proved good results for you John.
I used a heavy mix of my compost and store bought soil on several potted brugs this year. They are blooming now with large healthy leaves and few pests.
Compost is a good thing!!!! As you well know.
Awesome, John! Congrats!!
Gosh, in 2 days. When they decide it is a go, they go. LOL
Now I can't wait, how long before blooms?
