Hi I am somewhat new to clivias and have luckly met up with a few kind gardeners willing to share some rare plants with me - so I am off to a great start (though as Im sure everyone knows - you can never have enough, though there is often too much when plants are involved!) I have two seed questions I would love some input on.
First, I was wondering if pods will ripen off the plant, if so, how long ahead of time can they be picked? (I know the longer they stay on the better, but I have these pods...)
I have two picked pods, one has shrivled and is obviously holding nothing viable, but the other has started to ripen and change color like they do while still on the plant...what are my chances? It was completely green when picked.
Sorry my photo skills stink!
My next question is about the seed pods still on the plant... I have another picture of course!
Thanks for any help!!
Abbie
Clivia seed pod questions!
Thought i might be able to bump this up to the top and get some fresh thoughts?
