I will have these dalias when they are done for the year.
I'd like to trade shade perennials or ornametal grasses
hardy to my zone that I don't have.
There will be enough for at least 3 trades. They are beautiful,
I was using them as cut flowers all summer. These are the last
blosoms, I believe.
CLOSED: Will have: dalias
would be interested in trading for postage, or sending perennial seeds in exchange..........
I would also love to have some of this dahlia. I only have seeds, though. I have assorted columbine seeds, white liatris seeds, and a couple of daylily seeds.
kaykay,
I'll take columbines and white liatris and the difference in postage. D-mail me if it sound reasonable.
Would you be interested in ribbon grass? I also have unnamed hostas, all very healthy in different colors, and a blue salvia I bought two years ago...as a 4" plant, and it's now about 5' across! Or wild violets. That's it for shade.

Would you be interested in lirope? lol new at this and really all i have in grasses? Or postage? thanks
I do have varigated liriope, but it's not doing well. I am loosing it.
If I have any extra when I dig the tubers out, I'll write to you.
Thank you
OK, the dahlias are out of the ground and in a bucket.
Now I need to get the trade list.
There's enough for 5 trade at 3-5 tubers per trade - they
multiplied!

Would love some. Desiree
desadizz,
If one trade is off, I'll put you on the list.
I send 6 boxes in a hurry. My son had surgery and
I did not have time to pack and did not want to lose the tubers
to the frost. I hope they make it OK.

I'm NOT looking for/to trade but saw your last message and, from a "fellow Wisconsinite", I just wanted to say "Hello" and hoping that your son has a quick, and successful, recovery from his surgery.
Take care!
Jan
Thank you for good wishes. Victor is doing well, surprisingly well actually.
Not much longer for us to go now...
Gorgeous color on that Dahlia! Do you know its name? I may like to purchase it somewhere!
xxxxxx, Carrie
Unfortunately not. My neighbourgh gave me the tubers this spring. I did like it a lot. It was blooming far longer than I expected and with no care at all.
Thanks!! My box arrived today and they are nice and plump.....I can not wait until spring.
Glad to hear that. I glad I can share.
People here were so generous to me and I hope to do more as my garden grows.
