Hoya subcalva

Bromma, Sweden

Hi!

Here is another name-question: Does anyone know if it's supposed to be Hoya subcalva, Hoya BSI-1 or Hoya BS-1? I've seen all three names and don't know which one to use. What does BSI or BS stand for?

BSI = British Solomon Islands

If you received it as H. sp. BSI-1 and if the flowers match the H. sp. BSI-1 and it really IS H. sp. BSI-1...then it is H. subcalva.

I've got 3 different plants of this from 3 different sources. I am guessing that all of them are the same but dont know for sure. The foliage is alike on all of them but I guess until they flower,I wont know.

The first plant came from Ted Greene,plant 2 came from Carol and plant 3 came form David Liddle.

Ted's plants was labled subcalva,Carols was H.sp.BSI-1 and David's was listed as subcalva

All 3 are growing like weeds but so far none have shown me flowers and that's what I want to see!!

When they do flower you are going to be one happy lady. I can just picture all those lovely blooms. Does this one smell nice? Anyone know!
