DH picked up this little guy from a friend of a friend - 75% Pit Bull and 25% we think German Shepard. He is smart as can be, and after one day, he is already crate trained. In this photo, he just woke up - looks like he's saying, "Gosh, Mom, I just woke up and you have to flash that camera in my face." Our dobie doesn't really know what to do with him - but she did make it clear that she was not his mom and he was not allowed to nurse. Beyond that, I don't think she knows what to think. He's bullied her out of her dog food already, and nipped her nose. She's such a baby (until strangers walk up to the gate). I can see him running her life very shortly :-)
BTW this was originally posted on the photo forum - I spend so much time playing with plants that I forgot that this one existed. Anyhow, Janet930 reminded me... and since this little guy doesn't have a name yet, the floor is open for suggestions. Just remember he won't be this little and cute for too long - his mama tops 70 lbs! Pretty soon he will give Mauly (the dobie) a run for her money!
