disappointment and joy......

Disappointment from the fact that when I left this morning to go to the lab my obscura seed pods looked just the same as they have for the past month....green with just a touch of brown on the ends....and when I got home one had opened and the seeds were gone already! We had a storm come through and the wind must've whisked them away. I couldn't believe it....I've been watching these pods everyday and I swear they looked no different this morning. And I really wanted to send one of them to Carol to make up for the one that was no good. Sigh..... The joy however, is that the other pod had just split and I was able to recover all of the seeds from that one. I've got two 4'' pots sown full of obscura seeds. Now I just hope they sprout! Carol....if I get some good seedlings I'll make sure to send you some. Wish me luck!!

wow ! that is fast!! Were those seeds germinating in the pod:) I wished all seed would sprout like that. I had heard fresh from the pod seeds will germinate fast but had no idea it would only take a day or so.
Have fun with all those babies!
