I can't believe this brug! It just won't give up! I stuck a brick behind it because it kept getting blown to the ground, that would be cheating in the survival drama going on here.
Soooooo, how many in favor of leaving it there and how many in favor of giving it a reprieve and potting it up?

Do to overwhelming support, the IWTL brug spent the afternoon at Xeramtheum's Day Spa for Mistreated Plants.
It was rushed in ahead of everyone else and spent a relaxing half hour soaking in warm water with just a hint of food in it while a warm mud bath was being prepared.
Once the mud bath was prepared it was gently sloshed in where it rested its head on the rim and said ahhhhhhhh.

Gosh, I may make like a brug myself to get into your spa, X. What care!!
Actually, I use that method for all established plants that have been dug up to be moved or really distressed plants. It works especially well on roses. The main thing is to wash off all of the old dirt around the roots. trim them if needed and stick it in a bucket warm water with a quarter strength fertilizer for about a half hour. Then make a solution of ProMix BX to the consistency of thin pudding or thin enough so that when you slosh the root ball in it, it will ooze inbetween the root so there are no air pockets. Then let the water drain out and add more potting mix if needed on top. As it turns out, brugs respond to this treatment too very positively.
