Can anyone tell me what this "thing" is? There is 2 of them on this plant, I started it from a seed that was given to me. This is the only brug I have that has this growth. A brug wart, perhaps???? Should I be tearing my hair out because it is a horrible disease???
LOL Anna, the first time I saw it I freaked! Well, the very first time I thought it was a growth cluster and I would get great shoots but as it grew I freaked. Instead it just sits there looking like that. Eventually mine have died off leaving the brug fine. This was just mentioned on another thread.
I have no clue what causes it, it is like a cluster of skin cancer. I have a couple that just started to grow on seedlings too! Thankfully, it does not seem to hurt the plant at all.
I wonder if it a type of Witches' broom.
