I have only used it on a few troubled roses (with fungus) and I can't say I loved it. I know lots on the Rose Forum dislike it though there were a few who liked it a lot. I do not know how it would fare on brugs. What is the insecticide in it? Is it a miticide? I wouldn't think you would need the fungicide in it for brugs, that is kind of expensive for something you do not need, then again I didn't need the insecticide part fro my roses.
Linda
Urgent see SherryLike's 8/28 posting then read mine for the product information.... I think she might have saved the day!!!!

Does that kill Leaf Rollers ?
After I bought this stuff I went to the Farmers Coop to see what they had and they suggested HI-YIELD DI-SYSTON SYSTEMIC INSECTICIDE GRANULES. I didn't get it, but I am thinking I may take this other stuff back and go back and get the HI-YIELD DI-SYSTON SYSTEMIC INSECTICIDE GRANULES.
I know I'm on the Brug forum but I have about 4 Tropical Hibiscus that the leaves are getting thick and curling up looking terrible. The buds are forming but dropping off. I hate to send it to the burn pile, if I can get them fixed.
Thanks Judy and SherryLike I did read the thread you suggected for me to read.
Do not tell me Tropical Hibiscus get broad mites, Linda. LOL. That is the one plant I have that hasn't gotten bugified yet. I will just scream.
Hi-Yield Di-Syston Systemic has the same systemic insecticide as the Bayer 2 in 1 Rose & Flower Care but with no fertilizer. It has 1% of the Disulfoton to the Hi-Yield's 2%. I do not want to use it where I will be digging later and get exposed inadvertantly or have my cats exposed to it.
I edited my entry for I just found out registration for Hi-yield di-syston systemic insecticide granules was cancelled in February so it is illegal to sell it anymore. Also I just learned that PAN has classified Disulfoton 2% as a PAN Bad Actor, which then makes it either Extremely Toxic or Highly Toxic!! Everyone needs to make up their own mind whether to use it or not.

>>>Bayer Advanced Garden--All-in-One Rose & Flower Care
This stuff works great for mites, spider and broad, just DON"T use on dry soil. It will fry your brug leaves.
Make sure your brugs are well watered BEFORE sprinkling. Trust me I have experiece with this stuff. They will bounce back, but will look nasty for a while.
Try this again..
I have used this for 3 seasons, love it for ease of use(liquid).
Alternate it , as bad, nasty insects will develop
tolerance to any bugkiller.
So PPhil, are you talking about the Bayer granules with Disulfoton and fertilzer? I know that has fried a few of my plants. I always hesitate using that on my potted plants because of the fertilzer burn.
And Dedda are you talking about the Bayer All in 1 liquid? I have some left from my roses but haven't tried it on brugs. What kind of bugs did it kill on your brugs?
My house is looking like a Bayer store. I should buy stock in their company!
The Bayer I have is liquid you put it in a container and then add water. Then you just water your plants like you were feeding. What scares me is they said on it that it doesn't wash away and stays with the roots. I haven't tried it yet kinda waiting on more feed back on it.

I use both the bayer rose 2-1 and 3-1 about 3x a year . Still get black spot , some rust but it has cut way down on aphids .
I don't use within 10 feet of friut trees , tomatos , rasberries ETC .

This stuff is supposed to be good and they are taking off market . I ordered 2 bags .

I will be going to our farmers coop tomorrow, and see what they are selling theirs for. I don't remember if it was powder, liquid or granules? But I know they carried HI-YIELD DI-SYSTON SYSTEMIC INSECTICIDE.
Just be so careful with it and I would wear a mask so you can't breath any of the dust in and make sure your pets can't get near where you put it. I wonder if it is true that if you scan smell it, it means you are inhaling some of it. It stinks!
Kell,
Yes the' all in one' liquid. It has been used on my brugs 2 seasons now . It kills everything
that chews, sucks or otherwise molests the plants (on an other than superficial level).
But I rotate it , use wetable sulfur twice before going back to Bayer (2 X a year is all I apply Bayer) The *sulfur does just as good of a job on mites.*1 TBS per gallon in a hose end sprayer.
Bayer is just so simple, mix with water and pour into the pots.
However
Pointsettias , in one weeks time from a few mites on leaves to dried up bare sticks, no cuttings to take and start over , it was a fast kill.
Someone explain to me puuullleeeze how a plant ;where every part is PoisoN; cannot kill those little, irritating, good-for-nothing, demonic creatures? They about drove me out of my mind last year, all types black, red, spotted, broad.
