What is my name?

A hardy and unusual hibiscus grown by a friend.........they don't open like normal hibiscus. Anyone know what it is called?

It's in the same family but not really a hibiscus--Malvaviscus arboreus. Commonly called I think Turk's Cap and Sleeping Hibiscus

I have that one too but mine is the pendulus variety, the flowers are a bit larger and they hang down.

Definetly Turk's cap. I love the flowers on this.
