I was trying to get decent photos of the fish Pixydish gave me when I a black and white one came swimming toward me I didn't remember. Luckily, I snapped the photo in reflex because after that I just stared with my mouth open as this snake swam right up to me! He's a pretty thing and I'm willing to share the pond but not my fish! He looked like he could gobble the smallest ones.

Oh yes, they're growing. So's the snake. I had a BBQ with 16 relatives Labor Day Sunday. Several ran running up on the deck (both sexes) when he made an appearance in the pond. I haven't seen the smallest fish lately... I hope they haven't become snacks!
