Have a fifty year old gravenstien apple tree which gets abundant water, sprayed regularly and is pruned each year. For the past several years it has had apple drop, large and small apples, right before harvest. We have received all types of reasons for this from too many blossoms which polinate to culling the new apples to 4" - 6" between each other. Any ideas?
