hey there SoooozieQ, this one is actually a hybrid of boliv. not the true species. I have the name at the arboretum and can jot it down next time I'm there.
(note the leaf size/shape and flower shape vs. species of boliviensis)

Well my goodness, that's right, it does have different leaves than mine!! Sheesh, Mystic will be getting irritated with my numerous file correction requests!

I'll get the name for you on Wed so you can make a new plant file! =º)

Heya Sooozie, here's the hybrid you have. I think you can email admin so they will move your photo http://davesgarden.com/pf/go/145332/index.html

I think I saw another picture under Begonia boliviensis too that was a Bertini but I am too lazy to go look now and I saw it a week ago so who knows. I was afraid I was the one in error. I thought you had taken that picture at Berk Bot Sue, but they had the species. And guess what, remember how we were so hot for that one? We went to a nursery last week in Berkeley that had trays of them! And the 2 I had gotten when I was with you, rooted!! They are doing great.

We are talking about going to SF Arb this weekend, Sue. I told Lali you were determined to be plant free this month but we would love you to come.

I bought one from Berkeley Botanical Garden last year and it did real well, it increased and had several long branches, real pretty. Can't wait until it fills the pot.
Glad the cuttings rooted!
I have a daylily club meeting Sat, our last one of the year and always the biggest auction. I am in charge of making up the auction list and gathering images for the showing on the projector, lost of work! Plus I have to dig, divide and clean several to bring. Gonna be a late night and a full day. Thanks for the invite though. I told my Mom I would take her soon, before it gets too cold. Would be nice for her to get away for an afternoon.

That sounds like great fun. How many DL will be auctioned off?

Northern California, United States(Zone 9a)

So far I have over 52 for the auction, it's turning out to be our biggest one ever!

Pssst, Peggy was a dear and has moved my image.
