'Mighty Big Pink' hardy hibiscus

Apple Valley, MN(Zone 4a)

A friend gave me this hardy hibiscus last summer, so this is the first year it has bloomed for me. The name on the tag is "Mighty Big Pink PPAF," and it's living up to its name. This picture is of the very first blossom to open - measured 11 inches across.

This plant survived in Minnesota with just a thick leaf mulch.
