You got only the three irises? I would like to see your whole order. What were the prices like? Also wondering how long they were held in customs. That can make a big difference as to how your order would look compared to someone in the States. That one looks pretty small, regardless, but if it was only a couple of dollars, I could understand that.

Your anger and frustration is coming through loud and clear. Just a couple of tips fom me to you. You don't have to start a new thread every time you want to add to this topic. Go to your home page and look under "threads you have started", and you can pick the same one to add something. Also put it in the Watchdog, if you haven't. Just be cautious what you say, as they have the right to rebuttle and can twist things around pretty fast.

Any entry into your Diary about this order with the correct name of the company will also show up on net searches for the public. Found that by accident.

You could pot up the smallest ones and bring them in for the winter. I rescued the last sickly piece of China Garden from a friend's garden last fall. Everything else had rotted. I kept that little rhiz growing in the house under lights all winter and put it out this spring. It's doing great now and wil probably bloom next summer.

I received 14 irises, all that small. The price was $2.20each, thats not the point, my money is just as good. I have potted them. Must try and find a good place to put them for winter, I don't have a green house and the house may be to warm. Check out what Pollyk receive under Garden Watchdog/Blue J. I'm mad alright, it cost me $96 to get them to Canada. They sounded so good, but I will not order from them again.
New to the computer, so appreciate all the info. Spent 5 winters in Winnipeg, so know your challenges well.

Can I give you a couple of ideas.

Go to http://www.bc-iris.org

Read it, and then contact
harryh@dccnet.com to find out how to join them. I think Harry handles memberships. They meet on Salt Spring but do have garden tours and members all over BC.

Am very sorry that your order was so miserable. Next year order from http://www.chapmansiris.com or maybe http://www.chapmaniris.com or alberta iris growers or ....
