Well, thank you saya and joey for the welcome I'm already lovning it here - lots of interesting threads and very nice and helpful people! I couldn't resist that rose, both love the name and the colour. I really do hope it'll survive the winter and do some climbing for me!

I can't believe you have ''Penny Lane''! I wanted it for my trellis because it's supposed to take some shade. I never had it in any catalogues, and here it is, clear over in Iceland. That is so funny! I also liked it for the Beatle's song and Kate Hudson in ''Almost Famous''.

It's so pretty!

I found something else for the trellis, alas.

billy - that was one of the reasons why I bought it too - really liked the name. But aside from that - peach colored roses are not common here - so I couldn't resist it! Sure hope itīll grow next summer.

This is exactly the way I see a climbing rose should look, so tender and sweet.
