I like the shape of these blooms.
Pink Velvet
I do too, Gloria. They are a class act. Color sort of nice also. :)

It is very pretty.
Pink Velvet is a wonderful addition to any collection of brugs. I have been very impressed by this one. PV has held up excellent to the weird weather and hasn't been bothered by pest. When the heat wave arrived, PV still bloomed and is spitting out a few more at the moment as well as setting buds for the next flush. PV hasn't wilted once for me when others were screaming for water.
I ment to get a pic today of one of my un opened flowers. The tendrils are already pink and the flower hasn't even opened yet. The flower should open tonight.
It has held up well for me in the heat. They turn pink faster than any pink ones I've had before, usually on first day open..
Gorgeous!

PV sets pods easily.
What a great picture, Gloria. Sounds like Pink Velvet is a real winner. Is it an EP cross? The leaves are such a nice green too and not too big.
Thanks everyone, glad you like it.
I think you are correct Kell, but it is a hybridizers' secret who the parents were.
No, no secret Gloria. The family tree shows it as a PB x EP. Lovely photo. Joelle
I knew I had read it somewhere, but it is not listed in registration. There were a lot of really nice named pinks from same parents.
That is just soo pretty!
EP is a good parent , no doubt. God sure made some of the best to use for hybridizing. RK too! God knew what he/she was doing!
yes she is such a good bloomer and takes all the heat without so much as a wimper. She is one of JT's crosses and a great brug to have in a collection. Mine that survived Katrina(saltwater) has been putting about 16 blooms in each flush non stop
Hi Donna, thank you for sharing this brug with me, I love it!
your very welcome ;-)
