hi all
I have very limited quantities of the above geranium and can only manage about 6 trades. I'm only interested in trading for geranium seeds preferably in a packet and not self collected but would consider small bits of rhizome.
the geranium is hardy to -10C, grows to 2 feet, has felty gray/green leaves, gets smothered in smallish pink flowers that fade to white (maybe the other way round) and flowers from spring until August.
sorry for being so choosy.
Mark
ok maybe I am being very fussy. I'll go for species helenium, coreopsis and perennial helianthus seeds

geranium pyrenaicum album
*sigh* I will have to be content with looking at your album for now:)
Hi Mark,
I've never seen a G pyrenaicum album before. I have the pinkish-lavender, of course, and have started some seeds of the darker G. p. 'Bill Wallis'. Don't you find G. p. rather sprawling and messy? I should talk, I love G. pratense, and it's floppy too.
BTW G pyrenaicum has proven hardy to -40C here.

my plants are upright until about this time of year when the do flop. I cut them back and get a second set if flowers.
which pratense do you have? and any others?
mine dont flop either unless we get really strong winds. when there are only a few flowers left I cut these down to the ground also. in 4 - 6 weeks there will be more flowers.
to keep you geraniums upright I suggest in spring put an upturned hanging basket over the plant. this should keep the stems upright for you.
Mark
I'm still looking Mark, which coreopsis do you have? I have moonbeam and threadleaf, but am willing to go steal from other people's yards.
