I just recently adopted Rajah.... He's a handsome gigantic semi-longhair Ragdoll cat about 7 years old. Unfortunately he was very matted when I got him and although I'm good with a grooming comb, there wasn't any choice but to have him shaved.
Here's a picture of the poor pitiful thing taken yesterday after the groomer left. (Mobile grooming service... Don't you just love it!) All the other kitties had to smell him and check him out afterwards. They acted kinda scared of him too..... Like they'd never seen any creature like that.
Today is day 2 and he's doing better with his new short "cut"..... and in time he will be gorgeous again.
