Still no bridge, but now a fire pit

South Puget Sound, WA(Zone 8a)

Many of you gave great suggestions in April when I was contemplating making some changes to the back yard...here's the old thread:

This week I am putting the finishing touches on a flagstone patio and fire pit. Unfortunately, the outdoor shower and bathroom project will have to wait until the spring after we paint. We have not been able to decide/agree on a bridge, but at least the fire pit is a start. Once this is done, I'll need to figure out what sort of seating I want. When we're not using it to burn, we can put a table over the top so people don't fall in! I'm definitely open for any ideas or suggestions. Still don't know what to put in between the stones. I wish there was a moss that grew in bright colors.

Here is the process we used, starting with a hose line for the shape and an old iron pot from a garage sale.
